Terms & Conditions
These terms explain the rules and responsibilities that apply when you access or use PepperList.
Last updated: August 2, 2026
1. Accepting these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of PepperList. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use PepperList.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining control of the Google account used to sign in and for activity performed through your PepperList account. Provide accurate information, use the service only for lawful purposes, and notify us promptly at support@pepperlist.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the notes, photos, ratings, lists, and other content you submit. You give PepperList a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service according to your sharing choices.
You must have the rights needed to upload or share your content. Do not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or that violates another person's privacy or rights.
4. Sharing and collaboration
PepperList may let you share lists by link or publicly and invite others to collaborate. You are responsible for the audience and permissions you choose. People with access may view, copy, or further share information, and collaborators with editing access may change shared content. Review sharing settings before adding personal or sensitive information.
5. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use PepperList in violation of law or another person's rights.
- Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization.
- Disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass security or usage limits except where the law expressly permits it.
- Upload malware or use the service to distribute spam, harassment, or abusive content.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with another person or organization.
6. Third-party services and restaurant information
PepperList relies on third-party services for features such as authentication, maps, place information, hosting, and analytics. Restaurant details, locations, hours, photos, and other third-party information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Verify important information directly with the restaurant. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.
7. Service availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features and may set reasonable limits on use. We aim to keep PepperList available and protect saved content, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that content will never be lost. Keep independent copies of content that is important to you.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using PepperList at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or others, address legal requirements, or respond to a breach of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
PepperList is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by law, PepperList and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The revised terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Your continued use after they take effect means you accept the updated terms. Questions can be sent to support@pepperlist.com.
